I grew up in small town rural America with a passion for Jesus, my family, traveling, and agriculture. Upon high school graduation I pursued a degree in my home state of Illinois but always had a goal of moving to Colorado to indulge my adventurous side.

 

While living in Colorado, I started my career, climbed lots of mountains and became an active member in the Apostolic Christian Church of America.

My career has led to some of the best friendships, greatest mentors and the opportunity to find a passion and skill I never knew I had. As the roles of my job changed, I became self-taught designer, photographer, videographer, and event planner. I have learned that if you work hard, you can pretty much learn anything you need to. My biggest strengths throughout my career path have been determination, willingness to learn, interpersonal skills, and being a self-starter.

Where God guides, He provides...In 2018, I was given the chance to work remotely, which was a great opportunity for me. Fast forward to 2021, I made the decision to move back home as I felt the calling to something bigger. While I have always wanted to become a foster parent, it was never in my plan to become a single mom. But in 2022, I felt the calling to open the doors of my home to the fatherless and become a single foster parent. It has been a journey, but I wouldn't trade my two beautiful girls for anything.

My passions and goals in life have changed over the years and I know that God has a plan even when it feels scary to commit to Him and His desires for our lives. I want to use my skills to capture moments and share stories while continuing to be a voice for the voiceless, provide a safe place for abandoned, and sit in the ashes with the hurting.
